Occasionally the language used on chat tends to swerve onto the wrong side. There may be occasions where attendees inadvertently use foul language or swear over a public chat in a live event. Zuddl lets you set up a filter which deletes any messages with these trigger words before they are sent out on the chat.
Enable the Profanity Filter
To enable the profanity filter,
Go to Settings.
Toggle on Profanity Filter.
Note: The Profanity filter is turned off by default for all new events.
Customize what is filtered
Zuddl has a preset list of trigger words that are identified as profane. You can use the available list or edit it as required:
Click on View list to see the list of filtered words.
Add or remove words from the text field as required. Separate the words using commas so they are detected properly.
Click Save to keep your changes, or close the popup to discard your changes.
Click Reset To Default to discard all changes made to the list, even if they were saved.
Note: In case you have multiple events, the profanity list will need to be updated for individual events separately.
