Set up your Lobby

The Lobby venue is similar to a hotel lobby area or the reception area of an event, where attendees first arrive after signing in. Zuddl provides realistic templates for the Lobby with a host of customizations such as editable backgrounds, introductory videos, widgets, and more to make your virtual event engaging and immersive.

Here are some examples of different lobby setups:

Setting up the Lobby

To start setting up the lobby, go to Venue Setup > Lobby.

Add a lobby background

  1. To add a Lobby background, you can choose one from the list of high-definition backgrounds provided by Zuddl or upload your own background image from your device.


The recommended image size is 1920x1080 pixels in a .jpg, .jpeg, or .png file with a maximum file size of 4 MB.

  1. Click Save to proceed to the next element; Intro video.

Add an intro video

An Intro video is the experience video for the lobby and is played for attendees when they arrive at the event.

  1. Choose from the list of available videos under the Choose from templates or Upload your own image.


The recommended format is 1920x1080 resolution in either .mp4, .avi, or .mov with a maximum size of 6 GB.

  1. Click Save to proceed to the next element; Lobby widgets.

Zuddl offers different kinds of widgets that can be added to enhance your lobby experience, such as media widgets, buttons, hotspots, iframes, and tickers.
