Instant Streaming - Facebook

You can directly connect your Facebook page with Zuddl to stream out to your page without having to authenticate using RTMP keys. Like a plug-and-play option, you can simply add your Facebook page as a destination and stream out.


Prerequisites

  • Log in to the Facebook account from which you wish to go live.

Steps

  1. Log into your Zuddl Studio.

  2. Click the + icon to add a streaming destination.

  3. On Add new Destination screen, under Instant Connect , select Facebook.

  1. From the Select Facebook destinations screen, select any of the following options and click the Link Facebook button.

    1. Facebook Page

    2. Facebook Group

    3. Facebook Profile

The instructions for the three types of destinations are described below:

Facebook Page

The instructions for connecting your Facebook Page are given below:

  1. From the Select Facebook destinations screen, select Facebook Page and click Link Facebook. button.

  1. On the confirmation prompt message, click Continue as <your profile name>.

  2. Select the page you want to link with Zuddl Studio. Choose from the list of pages linked to the Facebook account.

  3. Click Next.

  4. On the permissions screen, toggle on the following options:

    1. Create and manage content on your Page. This enables Zuddl Studio to stream to your page right from Studio backstage.

    2. Read content posted on the Page. Allow Zuddl to consume post details.

    3. Show a list of the Pages you manage. If there are more than one page linked to your Facebook account.image.png

  5. Click OK. This links Zuddl Studio to Facebook.

Facebook Groups

The instructions for connecting your Facebook Group are given below:

  1. From the Select Facebook destinations screen, select Facebook Group and click the Link Facebook button.

  2. On the confirmation dialog, choose your audience from the following options:

    1. Public

    2. Friends

    3. Only me

    4. Custom

    5. Close friends

  1. Click Continue.

  2. Enable the toggle ‘Post content into groups on your behalf’. Expand and select the applicable groups you would cast the stream.

  3. Click Continue.

Facebook Profile

The instructions for connecting your Facebook Profile are given below:

  1. From the Select Facebook destinations screen, select Facebook Profile and click Link Facebook. button.

  2. On the confirmation dialog, choose your audience from the following options:

    1. Public

    2. Friends

    3. Only me

    4. Custom

    5. Close friends

  1. Click Continue.
