Modified on Fri, 17 Jun 2022 at 04:09 AM

To go live on Vimeo you need to configure your RTMP server on Zuddl. To set up your RTMP server, you need the following:

  1. RTMP Server URL

  2. Stream Key

To obtain the above information, you need to create a recurring live stream event on Vimeo:

  1. Go to Manage production > Stream via RTMP.

  2. Configure your event settings Click Next.

  3. Click the Connect (RTMPS) tab.

  1. Click the Copy RTMP URL link under the RTMPS URL field. This copies the RTMP URL to your clipboard.

  2. Paste the text into RTMP Server URL field in Zuddl Studio.

  3. Go back to your Vimeo dashboard and click the copy button beside Stream key. Paste the Stream Key into its respective field in Zuddl Studio.

Note: You can use the Stream key for recurring events.

  1. Click Setup RTMP server. This would add the Vimeo destination in Zuddl Studio.

  2. Complete the rest of the stream settings based on your requirements. When you start your session on Zuddl, you will see a preview of your live session (with a 20 second delay) on your Vimeo dashboard, then click Go Live.
