To go live on Facebook you need to configure your RTMP server on Zuddl. To set up your RTMP server, you need the following:
RTMP Server URL
Stream Key
To obtain the above information, you need to create a live stream on Facebook:
Click Create live video.
Click Select on the Go live card.
Select Streaming software from the Select a video source section.
This generates a new Stream Key.Expand Advance Settings section and toggle ON Persistent stream key. Turning on Persistent stream key allows you to reuse the same stream key for future streams. If turned off, you need to regenerate a new stream key for your next stream by following the instructions given above.
Copy and paste the Stream Key and Server URL into their respective fields in Zuddl Studio.
Click Setup RTMP server. This would add the Facebook destination in Zuddl Studio.
Complete the rest of stream settings based on your requirements. When you start your session on Zuddl, you will see a preview of your live session (with a 20 second delay) on your Facebook dashboard, then click Go Live.
